What is web accessibility?
The internet’s capacity to facilitate communication should be available to everyone. Web accessibility means:
- removing obstacles that might prevent people with disability from accessing information online
- enabling web sites to function with assistive and innovative technologies
- ensuring that web sites can be accessed on lower speed internet connections or with older technologies.
Our aim is that this web site will achieve best practice in accessible web design within branding guidelines.
We are constantly trying to improve the usability and accessibility of the ASSESS Medical Group website and invite your feedback and comments.
Enabling the Accessibility Menu
The accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the dark blue circular icon that appears on the right hand side of this page. After prompting the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the menu to fully load.
Sometimes we will provide links to brochures or fact sheets that you can print out or read on the screen. These documents will always be provided in the following format:
PDF—Portable Document Format
They require the use of Acrobat Reader to open. If you don’t have Adobe Reader, download it for free.
You can request the information contained on our website in an alternative format if you are unable to access it through the site. To request an alternative format, please contact us.
